Privacy Policy

Hey SI (CanCapperZ LLC (doing business as Hey SI), "we") runs heysi.dev and heysi.app. We collect as little as we can. We don't sell your personal information, and we don't share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

1. What we collect and why

We don't knowingly collect sensitive data. Please don't send it to us.

2. Cookies

The Site itself sets no advertising or tracking cookies. We do not currently use analytics or tracking cookies. Checkout pages and embedded signup forms run by Lemon Squeezy or Kit may set cookies that are strictly necessary for them to work. See their policies.

3. Marketing emails

We only email people who signed up. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and we honor opt-outs promptly (within 10 business days at most). Buying the Pack doesn't sign you up for the newsletter unless you tick the opt-in box.

4. Who we share data with

Only service providers that help us run Hey SI (Kit, Lemon Squeezy, Cloudflare Pages, our email provider), under their terms and data-processing agreements. We may also disclose data if the law requires it, or to protect our rights. If Hey SI is sold or transferred, data may move with it under this policy.

5. International transfers

We're based in the United States, and our providers may process data in the US and other countries. Where GDPR/UK GDPR applies, transfers rely on our providers' safeguards, such as Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework where they participate.

6. How long we keep it

Newsletter data: until you unsubscribe, then removed or suppressed (we keep your email on a do-not-email list so you aren't re-added).
Order records: as long as tax and accounting law requires (generally up to 7 years).
Support emails: up to 3 years.
Analytics: aggregated. Server logs follow the host's default retention.

7. Your rights

Wherever you live, you can ask us to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, or to stop emailing you. If you're in the EU/UK you can also object to or restrict processing, withdraw consent anytime, and complain to your data protection authority. California residents can ask what we've collected and ask us to delete it. We don't sell or share personal information, and we won't treat you differently for using these rights.

Email hello@heysi.dev with "Privacy request" in the subject. We'll reply within 30 days (one month under GDPR) and may need to verify it's really you. For order data held by our merchant of record, we'll coordinate with Lemon Squeezy or point you to it.

8. Children

Hey SI is for adults. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or under 16 in the EU). If you think a child has given us data, email us and we'll delete it.

9. Security

We use reputable providers, two-factor authentication, and least-access practices. No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects your data, we'll notify you as the law requires.

10. Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update the date above. For significant changes, we'll also tell newsletter subscribers.
